Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors should submit only papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they are original or extended version of previously published papers in conferences and/or journals and that, if the work received an official sponsorship, it has been duly released for open publication. Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the Journal of Lifestyle Communication template. The authors must refer to Journal of Lifestyle Communication (please download and use as template for initial manuscript submission). This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guideline to authors will not be processed.

The minimum standard requirements of Journal of Lifestyle Communication must be

  1. Written in English.
  2. The length of an article should be 5000-7000 words including bibliography. It should be sent in an editable version as a Microsoft Word (.Doc or .Docx) or Rich Text Format (.Rtf) and use standard typography.
  3. Recommended to use a tool such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style 7th edition.
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the Journal of Lifestyle Communication template.

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present following the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper is no longer than 12 words, without Acronym or abbreviation.
  2. The abstract should be a concise paragraph with no more than 200 words; no citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes and results, and conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 25 references primarily with 70% from journals and 10%, 25% from textbooks/e-books, and 5% from secondary data.
